Dr. Chad Anderson recently participated in a Google+ interview where he talked about his formal training.
I actually went to the Palmer College of Chiropractic. I’m probably a little biased because I went to that school but it’s known around the chiropractic community as the Harvard of chiropractic.
Just a little history on this school, the chiropractic profession was actually founded in 1895 by D.D. Palmer, who is the father of chiropractic. The Palmer College is actually a stem off of his school. So I knew when I wanted to get into chiropractic I wanted to go to the best school out there which was a Palmer College.
At the time, when Palmer was first recognized as a chiropractic college they were only school, and is located in Davenport, Iowa. Since then the school has become so big and so well known that they started to expand and have campuses in other areas.
They have a campus in San Jose, California, and they also have one in Port Orange, Florida. When I did decided to go to chiropractic college and I was looking at the Palmer schools, I decided I’d rather spend 4 years of my life down there on the beaches in Florida as opposed to one in Davenport, Iowa. So I went to the Florida campus. But what mattered most was that it was a Palmer school which is known to be one of the top chiropractic schools in the country. Actually THE top school for chiropractic care.
